Live Out Loud -The magic of a purpose filled life

Purpose. It's such an intimidating word for me. What is your purpose? Are you living it out loud? Ask me these questions and my anxiety level is on a hundred thousand. Why? because in some cases I believe I've been avoiding my purpose due to fear and insecurities. Am I good enough for this role? Is this who I was always meant to be or am I a fraud? First things first, take those questions and set them ablaze. No one should be this hard on themselves. Let's start from a place of self -awareness shall we? Great.

I believe deep down inside we all have an awareness of what our purpose is. We just need courage and at times support to live it out intentionally. Self awareness does not have an age range or time frame by the way. It's an organic evolution that happens on its own with not set timeline on your part. It simply starts to mature once you set the bullshit down, take off your numerous masks, and start acknowledging who you truly are without judgement. You discover your "why" and you acknowledge and protect it. Now, I created this draft a long time ago but I'm glad I waited until today to share it on the blog. Because today I discovered something new about living a purposed filled life while listening to Kevin Queen's sermon on 12stone.com online. To quote him very loosely - When you know your "WHY", you're able to say no consistently to things that do not align with your purpose. Mind blowing! That statement to me is the best way to recognize self awareness. Your "why" by the way is the fire behind your purpose. Its the reason you've chosen to finally live your purpose out loud.

"We may need courage and support to live out loud with purpose.....Surrounding yourself with people that understand and support your purpose helps to boost confidence and get you going and growing."

Me. Hiding. In a garden in Kasbah Tamadot. Marrakech, Morocco.

I mentioned we may need courage and support to live out loud with purpose. You know what helps as a means of support - finding like minded people. Surrounding yourself with people that understand and support your purpose helps to boost confidence and get you going and growing. Knowing that you're not the only Unicorn or Pineapple out there (I love Pineapples!!) can be so refreshing and empowering. Don't force yourself to blend in where you're not meant to be - It's ok to stand out and be seen; just the way you are. Denying who you are, denying your purpose, stunts growth.

Yes, the world can seem a lonely place for individuals and disrupters. But you'll find out that if you express your true self and intentions in your daily walk, you can end up being a huge influence. Even if it's just to one person. That one person can take that light you shined and share it with another five. Those five will share it with another ten. That ten with another twenty. Live intentionally. Someone out there needs to see you - just the way you are.
