"This is my experience on using the New York Times best seller, "One Year To An Organized Life" by Regina Leeds to enhance my quality of life and establish lifestyle routines. I admire her take on getting organized one week and one area at a time because I thrive on achieving little accomplishments in moments. I hope this inspires you to get the book, follow along, and establish your own lifestyle routines as well!" - Cheli Njoku/The Cheli Experience LLC
New month. New organization challenge. New slay!
If you’ve been following along with my posts on One Year To An Organized Life - Thank you! If you’ve found the process inspiring and useful - Awesome !
Let’s recap the first month:
✅Journal for establishing routines and visions. The “spell” is in Spelling. Write. It. Down.
✅Address your Kitchens weakness and strengths and implement function and design
✅Create a shopping list
✅Establish an ongoing kitchen routine for maintenance
And now, the bedroom!
I just finished Week 1. It asks for us to address our likes and dislikes within our bedroom -
Layout? paint 🎨? storage? bedding? clothes?
Do you share your bedroom?
If so, then it will have to be a team effort so it can be a haven for both, not just one.
I consider myself lucky to have my room to myself; it gives me more control over my decisions.
Once I completed the exercise of questions, I created action plans - short term and long term.
For example:
My First 30-60 Day plan is to finally get curtains for the window behind my bed, reassign my workspac, paint walls, and get more storage.
My 90 - 120 day plans are more rigorous - California Closet, New Carpet; to name a few.
What do you like best and least about your room and what are you willing to do to make changes?
